Hudu Query Help

Overview

Precursor Systems Hudu API Query is an tool to interact with Hudu via its API. This version can pull out Microsoft 365 licenses (if you have integrated them into your Hudu instance.)

Help

Brings you to this Help page.

Settings

Before you begin you will need to add your Hudu domain and API key into the settings before you begin (username is not required).

Companies

Brings you to the Companies query layout to retrieve your Hudu Company names and UIDs for use in the Licenses script.

Licenses

Brings you to the Licenses Query layout.

Takes you to the Hudu API documentation page.

NB. The Hudu docs are contained in your own Hudu instance so to see the API documentation you will need to have set up Hudu and modified the settings in this solution to have your Hudu domain e.g. hudu.example.com.

Get Companies

Performs the Get Companies script.

Set Company

Set your Company name to prep for running the Get Licenses script.

Get Licenses

This will search the selected company for the Microsoft 365 licenses (and remove External licenses).

Troubleshooting

1 Make sure you have filled out all the various Settings dialog boxes with the appropriate domain and API key you generated in Hudu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does this solution require Claris FileMaker?

A: Yes. You could use the 45 day trial version, but if you are member of the Apple Consultants Network your member benefits include an NFR copy. You also may be able to get an NFR by attending Claris Engage, or by becoming a Claris Partner.
